Terms of Service – Capybara-Fix

Welcome to Capybara-Fix. By browsing our site or placing an order, you agree to play by the rules below. Think of this as the player’s manual for shopping with us.

1. The Shop

We repair, upgrade, and sell gaming parts, shells, and accessories.
We are not affiliated with Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, or any console maker. We’re just passionate about keeping your gear alive and well.

2. Orders & Payments

All orders must be paid in full at checkout.
Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT (where applicable).
Shopify’s checkout handles payments securely. We don’t store your card details.

3. Shipping & Mail-In Repairs

You are responsible for securely packaging your device when sending it to us. Pro tip: lots of bubble wrap = extra XP in safe shipping.
We are not liable for loss or damage in transit to us.
Once we’ve got your device, we’ll complete the agreed service and ship it back tracked.

4. Repairs & Warranty

Repairs come with a limited warranty (30–90 days depending on service).
Warranty only covers the specific repair carried out, not unrelated faults.
We don’t cover accidental damage, liquid damage, or DIY mods after repair.
Always back up your data before shipping a console—we can’t be responsible for save files, profiles, or progress lost along the way.

5. Returns & Refunds

Parts & Accessories: May be returned within 30 days if unused and unopened.
Custom Services & Repairs: Non-refundable once work has started.
Refunds (when eligible) are processed via the original payment method.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use our site or services for:

Anything illegal (obvious one).
Violating copyright or IP laws.
Uploading viruses, cheats, or anything that would get you banned on Xbox Live.

7. Age Requirement

By using this site, you confirm you are at least 18 years old, or shopping with parental/guardian permission.

8. Liability

Capybara-Fix is not responsible for indirect damages, lost gaming time, or missed raid nights.
Our liability is limited to the value of the service or product purchased.
